Are there any age, height, weight, or other restrictions?
Each activity has its own set of guidelines and restrictions, which will be assessed in person. There are some general rules for each activity listed below.
Ziplining
For our ziplining tours, the minimum age is 4 years old, and each participant must weigh at least 60 lbs. For safety reasons, guests weighing less than the minimum requirement may need to experience the zipline with a guide or another approved individual in a tandem zipline ride.
There is no maximum age limit or specific physical restriction for ziplining. We strive to accommodate everyone who wishes to participate, regardless of their abilities or limitations. In the past, we’ve had guests with significant physical challenges successfully enjoy the zipline experience, and we’re happy to work with them to find solutions that suit their needs.
Our ziplines are incredibly sturdy—capable of holding the weight of a truck—so larger individuals can rest assured that their safety is not a concern. However, it’s important to note that some larger individuals may find the zipline harness less comfortable. The industry generally recommends a maximum weight of 280 lbs., but individuals above that weight may still be comfortable in the harness, as weight distribution varies from person to person. We offer a range of harness sizes and invite guests to test them for comfort before starting the tour.
Horseback Riding
The minimum age for our horseback riding tours is 12 years old. However, exceptions may be made based on the parent’s assessment of the child’s ability and provided the parent is willing to take responsibility during the ride. For those still wishing to ride but not capable of riding solo, they must be accompanied by an adult (capable and willing to ride with them on the horse), who can be a parent, another adult approved by the parents, or one of our guides.
ATVs/UTVs
To drive an ATV/UTV, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. The minimum age for passengers on our ATV/UTV tours is 4 years old. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (capable and willing to ride with them on the ATV/UTV), who can be a parent, another adult approved by the parents, or one of our guides.
Are there any additional restrictions?
Yes, zipline tours are not recommended for individuals with moderate to severe heart or respiratory conditions, recent surgeries, those in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, or those with significant musculoskeletal problems. Additionally, guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate in any of the activities.
What should I wear?
What should I wear?
Be sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and sunglasses. We recommend securing your sunglasses with a strap to prevent them from getting lost during the tour. Phones and other loose items should be left at home or stored in an on-site locker. Our souvenir shop offers any essentials you might have forgotten. The following are our suggested attire for tours:
Ziplining, Horseback Riding, and ATVs/UTVs:
We encourage guests to wear comfortable clothing, such as t-shirts, long pants, capris, or knee-length shorts. Women often prefer leggings as they’re lightweight and stylish for photos. Closed-toed shoes, such as sneakers or hiking boots, are required (no flip-flops or open-toed shoes). Helmets are mandatory for all participants, so plan your hairstyle accordingly. Long hair should be tied in a low ponytail or braid, and you can wear a hat under the helmet if you wish.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all participants must complete a waiver and questionnaire prior to engaging in any activities.
Do you offer photos and videos?
Yes, we capture photos and videos during most of our tours. Additionally, you can also request that photos or videos be taken during any tour. We continue to update our photo and video package offerings.
